Lancashire Shopmobility is a mobile service which offers individuals in certain areas outside Preston access to mobility equipmentment once a week.
Where is it?
The mobile unit is situated in a central shopping locations in Morecambe and Lancaster. Bookings for wheelchairs or scooters can be made in advance by telephoning the Lancashire Mobile Shopmobility on 07966 451 613.
What do I need to do to use the service?
The first time you loan any of the eqiupment, you will be required to provide two forms of indentification.
What does it cost?
A charge of £2.00 will be made for per half day loan. Half days are indentified as; 09:30am to 1:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:00pm but it may be possible to borrow wheelchairs and scooters for other time durations.

Every Thursday
Morecambe. Festival Market Car Park, Central Drive. 09:30am to 4:00pm.
Every Friday
Lancaster. Dalton Square, (outside Palatine Hall). 09:30am to 4:00pm.
How do I get there?
It is possible for you to drive to the mobile unit by car as parking is available nearby or where possible by making use of a Dial-a-Bus service.
