The Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS), is organised by the Community Transport Association (CTA). It is a voluntary driver certification for Community Transport Providers.

All drivers must be aged 21 or over. MiDAS does not act as a substitute to D1 entitlement and the certificate must be renewed every four years.

Drivers also receive practical instruction on how to safely secure passengers who are travelling in wheelchairs.
